The Foundation Conservemos Nuestros Bosques Nativos (CNBN) is based in Ecuador, South America.

CNBN has the following tasks:

1. Doing all the groundwork of the actual protection of primary rainforest in the Amazon in Ecuador

2. Doing the actual purchase of crucial pieces of primary rainforest in the Amazon in Ecuador, and doing all the complicated legal paperwork to make them protected areas

3. Providing information and access for Research to discover new values of Native Forest

4. Being in direct communication with STNF, the Huaoranis and local people, planning projects with them and being responsible for these projects and the actual protecting of rainforest

So the members of CNBN are the real heroes. They are fighting to keep the native forest protected and safe for the flora and fauna in it, as well as the people living in and around it.

They are good friends with many local people around the forest, they know how to handle in the specific area because it is home to them.

They are also very well connected with the Huaoranis in the East side of the Territory, which is a necessity if you want to work together with them in a productive way.
